A new update has arrived for the card game RPG Tower of God: New World, and it offers up new teammates, costumes, and events that offer special in-game rewards. 

For those who don’t know, Tower of God: New World sees you take control of a range of characters to ascend the titular Tower. You do this via a fast-paced battle system that utilises a unique Slot System. Its USP is that it powers up a particular “slot” rather than a specific character, which adds an unheralded layer of depth to battles.

As for this latest update, it’s titled Hot Summer Festival, and it more than lives up to that name. You can now choose from new teammates SSR+ [Thorn] Biole (Red element, Ranged) and SSR [Maniacal] Xia Xia (Red element, Supporter). There are also six costumes available for Biole, Xia Xia, Shibisu, Hatz, Ha Yuri, and Hwaryun.

There’s heaps of new content too, including Xia Xia’s Growth Mission. Once you obtain the character of SSR Xia Xia you’ll have 8 in-game missions to take on – complete these you’ll receive SSR Xia Xia one more time.

Then there’s the ‘Dangerous Vacation’ story event. Here you complete missions to receive rewards, and once all the missions are completed you nab Normal Summon Tickets (x21), SSR Soulstones, and much more besides.

There is also a Vacation Mission Event and a related Vacation Event Exchange Shop. In the former you complete missions and receive special in-game rewards, including Normal Summon Tickets (x21), SSR Soulstones, and more. Last Fortress: Underground, the biggest mobile strategy game featuring zombies, has just announced its first ever crossover event, and it’s with Amazon’s hit superhero series, The Boys.

It’s an unlikely crossover for sure, but we’re here for it. When it arrives on July 31, the popular characters Butcher, Hughie, and Starlight will feature as playable characters.

In fact, you can unlock Starlight for free by participating in the beginning of the event. This involves completing a series of objectives throughout the week, earning Starlight when you’ve beat them all.

Hughie and Butcher will then become available later on in the collaboration. You can’t quite unlock them with as much ease as Starlight, but you’ll get a chance to unlock them via the game’s gacha system.

That’s not all, though. The event will also feature a ton of collectible items from the Amazon series, including Butcher’s vehicle, themed buildings, and profile customisations. You can also find all information about the event in a dedicated collection room.

Wrapping it up is a new storyline that ties into the series plot. Join Butcher, Hughie, and Starlight as they help you fend off the zombie horde and learn more about the outbreak.

Over time you get to unlock more than 80 different characters, so if PXL doesn’t float your boat you’ll have plenty of options. 

Each of the game’s suspended walkways is full of twists and turns – by which we mean sharp right angles. To stay on solid ground you need to tap on the screen to change direction whenever you reach a corner. 

The same action lets you activate power-ups whenever you bounce over them, allowing you to shrink under high obstacles, vault over low ones, expand in size, and temporarily speed up. 

And that’s pretty much the game. PXLPLAY is rated for EVERYONE on Google Play, and it’s part of the Families Program, so it’s genuinely one for the whole family.

Netmarble is back again with a brand new update for Seven Knights 2. It introduces a brand new hero, Iota, alongside a water festival-themed event, celebrating the nicer weather to come.

First, that hero. Their full title is Roar of Tarragon Iota, but it’s Iota for short. This melee fighter is a DPS powerhouse that can also support their allies with heals, recovery, and faster attack speed while dishing out the damage.

But what of that festival? Well, it’s made up of four separate events, all of which shower you with rewards for participating. It goes by the title of the Water Festival and kicks off with a check-in event that gifts you for logging in a total of seven days while it’s live.

Then there’s the Shoot and Loot event. In this, you play as Cosette and have to fire water guns to earn Mythic Upgrade Stones, Pet Fragment Chests, and Rubies. Meanwhile, a crafting event helps you to unlock Iota’s event outfit, as well as netting you Mythic Enhancement Stones, Pet Fragment Chests, and more.

Rounding up the festivities is a level-up event for Iota themself. First, unlock Iota, then level her up to at least level 36 to start gaining rewards every two levels to a maximum of 58. These rewards include Iota Soulstones, Water Festival Coins, and Universal Soulstone Shards.

It’s that time again.

Each week, the top 100 players and Guilds will receive additional rare items, such as Blazing Embers, Epic Crimson Manes, and Speed Up Crafting. You can unlock better rewards by purchasing five in-game packs worth $4.99 or more.
